Today was another step away from the safety of the base.
I continued exploring the map, unlocking new points, and searching for places that could make future travel easier. This time, the path led me to one of those ancient portal structures - quiet, strange, and surrounded by a feeling that the world is much older than the small shelter I am trying to build.
There is something satisfying about slowly opening the map piece by piece.
A new marker.
A new route.
A new place to return to later.
Not every journey needs to end with a battle or a huge discovery. Sometimes, progress is simply finding a point that makes the world feel a little more connected.
