After several days of hard work, resource gathering, building, and slowly learning the world of Soulmask, my first base has finally started to take shape.

It is still unfinished - and that is exactly part of its charm.

The base is located in the Western Rainforest and serves as my first serious primitive settlement. At this stage, most of it is still built from thatch and other light primitive materials, but the next major step will be a full upgrade to wooden structures, along with a wider expansion of the entire area, because I am already starting to run out of space for everything I want to add.

At the moment, my tribe, Valiant Explorium, consists of:

- 14 tribesmen
- 2 monkeys
- 2 alpacas

For now, I am playing solo, but I am open to allowing other players to join - as long as they are serious, respectful of the atmosphere, and not here to damage or disrupt what is being built.

Even though the base is still under development, the direction is already clear. I do not want it to be just a survival outpost, but a true home, a working tribe, and a reliable starting point for future expeditions.

One of my favorite parts so far is the garden. At the moment, I am growing:

- Potato
- Corn
- Pumpkin
- Guava Tree
- Papaya Tree
- Cotton Plant
- Aloe
- Cashew Tree
- Peanut
- Tomato Plant

This is not just a decorative feature. To me, the garden is the beginning of something more self-sustaining, stable, and alive. I really like how the place is gradually starting to feel like more than a shelter - it is becoming something truly lived in.

The images in the album Soulmask // Base_001 show different parts of the base in its current state - the entrance area, sections of the garden, the lake surrounding it, the interior, the first and second floor, and many of the small everyday details that slowly build its atmosphere. This is still an early, rough, unfinished phase, but that is exactly what makes it so interesting to me - it is where the beginning of something much bigger can be seen most clearly.

And yes - the base is still unfinished.
That is the point.

I want this first log to remain as a kind of starting mark - a snapshot of the moment when everything is still primitive, slightly chaotic, but already full of promise. There is still a lot ahead: more space, better organization, more functionality, and of course a full transition from thatch to wooden structures.

The server I am currently playing on is private. If anyone is interested in the world, the project, or the game itself, they can reach out to me through Discord, which is already linked on the site.

This is only the first Soulmask log on the website, but it definitely will not be the last.
There is still a lot ahead for the base, for the tribe, and for the journey as a whole.

Base_001 is only the beginning.
